‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ Cast Show Some Love As Director Malav Rajda Renews Marriage Vows With Wife Priya Ahuja

Making the most of the wedding season, “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” director Malav Rajda renewed his marriage vows to actress-wife Priya Ahuja on their 10th wedding anniversary on Friday.

The time of India shared an exclusive report and photos from Saturday’s special event.

The bride opted for a pale pink and sky blue lehenga with gold embellishments, and the groom wore a white and gold
sherwani with a pink stole. The couple’s two-year-old son Ardaas was also color-coordinated with his father for the wedding ceremony.

For the event, a
sangeet,
mehendi and wedding ceremonies were planned at a suburban hotel near Mumbai. The entire star cast of “Taarak Mehta …” attended the ceremony to congratulate the happy couple.

Palak Sindhwani (Sonu in TMKOC) tied the sacred knot (gathbandhan) for the couple. Actor Dilip Joshi (Jethalal in TMKOC), Kush Shah (Goli in TMKOC) and Nidhi Bhanushali (who previously played Sonu in TMKOC) were also spotted at the ceremony.

In an interaction with
YOU, Rajda spoke of the strong bond and friendship with his wife. Ahuja also attributes their understanding and friendship to the successful ten-year marriage.
The duo first met on the sets of the TV comedy where Rajda was the director and Ahuja played the role of Rita Reporter.

After being friends for a while, the couple married in November 2011 and welcomed their son in December 2019.
